History

Jimmy Oskie won five California Racing Association, CRA, Spint Car Championships during his career.

The last three of Jimmy Oskie's wins came aboard the beautiful JFK Sprint Cars in 1976, 1977 and 1979, which were fielded by CRA legends Jack and Wilda Kindoll. the last of Oskie's championships came in 1979 aboard the #1 Stanton built sprinter.

This car was beautifully restored back to its glory days by two time National Non-Wing Sprint Car Driver of the Year, Jon Stanbrough of Brownsburg, Indiana. It not only lo0oks beautiful but it performs as good as it looks. Jon took this car to Knoxville, Iowa in June of 2017 and, with Oskie back in the seat, it was turning some very impressive laps for a 40 +/- year old racing combination.
