History

This #98 Eagle was the last Championship Indy car built by All American Racers in Santa Ana, California. The familiar Jones "98" was driven by PJ Jones.

In 1996, All American Racers, Dan Gurney, and the Eagle -- just as visually stunning as ever -- were back! With financial support and engines from Toyota Motorsports and driving talent from Juan Manual Fangio II and P.J. Jones (son of my first Indianapolis 500 hero, Parnelli Jones), Gurney was beginning the development of what could have proven to be another winner.
