This #81 is the last Sprint Car driven by Jon Stanbrough of Brownsburg, Indiana. Jon raced full time 2015 and cut back in 2016 & 2017. He retired from driving in 2017.
During most of Jon's driving career, he was considered an outlaw which meant he would mostly race the big money events rather than following any one series. In Sprint Cars alone, he amassed 191 victories in 11 states, 25 different tracks while driving for 17 different car owners which included Wilkerson - Woodland. He posted 35 USAC wins, 2 Indiana Sprint Week crowns and 2 Midwest Sprint Car Series crowns. He also won the Pacific Coast National in 2009.
Jon was honored as "National Non-Wing Sprint Car Driver of the Year" on 3 occasions and was inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2024.
